Is It Zoolander?

Jullien had a casting today with the famous men's fashion magazine, Arena Homme +. HE BOOKED IT! Now the bad part, he has a job on Monday that he booked last week so he can't do it! At least it's good for his ego to know that he could've booked a job for one of the top magazine's. I'm sure there will be other opportunity's.

On Monday he has a full day of shooting, 8:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m., who said modeling was easy? He's a football player and has played since he was five. He knows all about hard work, but when he calls me after a photo shoot, he says, "Man, that was so tiring, mom!" I laugh and say, "What, you're not turning into a prima donna on me are you?" LOL! He doesn't like when I joke with him like that, but I don't care, it's funny.

I guess all that posing, holding weird positions, bending, squatting and giving that Zoolander look would wear anyone out.



Someday he may be able to strike those AMAZING poses!LOL!

Crazy Weekend Recap-Swine Flu Too?

My husband and I planned on having a whole weekend to ourselves and spent Friday night in a hotel (most couples stayed the entire weekend) to attend a great marriage conference called "A Weekend To Remember" (EVERY married couple should attend this!)

Of course with our crazy schedule, there is no such thing as an entire weekend to ourselves. Jullien had his Senior Prom (had to see them off and take tons of pics and will post later), Elijah had his Orange County Track Meet Championship Race on Sunday (another blog to write and post pics) and Anthony got really sick on Sunday. This is the worst flu he's ever had. I keep telling him it's the Swine Flu...but he says, "Stop trying to freak me out!" I've been joking...but now I'm really starting to wonder (do you think the NON-STOP media coverage has anything to do with my fear?!?)

I'm still working on signing Jullien's modeling contract, I'm being VERY careful. It's kind of scary because I want to make sure that I understand every area of the contract. This is taking longer than expected. I also went and applied for his Passport. I had to fill out all of Josh's FAFSA paperwork for school. Send out pictures to the show, "It's Me or The Dog," who came to tape and interview us for their show. Picked up Jullien's Senior pictures and trying to order the announcements (yes...I'm always the procrastinator). Tomorrow it's a conference call with the owner of Red Model Management to discuss all of my concerns/questions. Elijah has a CIBACS interview at 3:30 and Josh needs to turn in his FAFSA paperwork to his school.

OKAY...is anyone as tired as I am after reading my RIDICULOUS schedule!

Modeling Deal

Another MAJOR modeling agency RED MODEL MANAGEMENT NYC (click on link and then click red ball to see ad campaigns for Gucci, Versace, D&G, Michael Kors, Abercrombie & Fitch etc) has just stepped into the picture trying to sign Jullien. They represent 4 of the top male models in the world. We should be receiving the news/offer of representation any day now. We were told to get his passport ASAP...there is a huge fashion week in Milan and Paris in the summer and I think they want him to be ready to walk in it. They also told us to go to a tailor and get all his measurements for a European cut suit. WHAT???? Crazy huh?

It's not a done deal, they are meeting to discuss it tomorrow....so we'll see. But it looks pretty good.
I've done all my research, here's one of them SEE HERE and everything is legit. So keep your fingers crossed. It'll be one of those once in a lifetime experiences that you can only have while your young.
