My Son's Nickelodeon BrainSurge Debut

Today at 4:30 p.m. CA time, my son Elijah has his Nickelodeon BrainSurge game show debut. It was filmed in the summertime and we have been anxiously waiting to see it. My step sons Adam's episode already aired (he was the one in the commercials with both hands on his cheeks).

Check your local listings and tune in to watch him.

I Blogged about the whole audition experience...CLICK HERE to read.

Nickelodeon's BrainSurge-They Both Made It

Elijah and Adam both tried out for Nickelodeon's new game show. Adam was the first one to be contacted and went down for a taping last week. But they had over booked the kids (they had informed us that they usually do this in case some kids don't show up.) They asked if Adam could come back on a later date because we live closer than most of the other kids. Anthony wasn't to happy (he is not the type to sit around all day for nothing), but he said, "Okay."

When he got home he told me that they also wanted Elijah to do a show. So we are now re-booked and I will take both boys back in two weeks for their taping. I was hoping that they would be on the same show (the two step-brother's are a crack up when they're together), but they said they will need to do it separately...darn it!

They are really excited and I'll let you all know how it goes and when it will air.

Nickelodeon Brainsurge Audition: Adam Made It!

Adam (our little comedian) received a call yesterday that he has been booked to be on the new Nickelodeon Game Show- Brainsurge. You never know what they're looking for. We thought Adam totally blew at the audition because he froze up on camera, but once he was off camera and sitting in the background, he turned back into a clown.

I felt bad for Elijah...he said he didn't care that he wasn't picked, but I could tell he was sad. Adam asked if he wanted to go with him on Monday and watch, he said with a shrug of his shoulders, in his carefree way, "No, I'm just going to hang out at home and play video games."

I'll let you know when it airs so you can all watch him in action. Guess they really were looking for REAL kids instead of seasoned actors.
