What a weekend...what happened!?! I'm going to watch the game replay today at 4:00 p.m. on FSN Prime Ticket to try and figure it out. Jullien's game was a close one all the way until the very end, with 3:56 left in the game, we were down 22-17. Our quarterback threw deep with a guy wide open. Not just any guy, this is our fastest guy AND he hardly ever drops passes. It was a perfect pass, right in his hands, almost in the end zone...but he dropped it! He felt so bad...it would have probably clinched the win for us. But we ended up throwing an interception on the next play. They scored another touchdown to finish the game off. Jullien played really well, but was upset because he got completely blocked by three guys on a 94 yard kick off return for a touchdown. Like I always tell him...nobody's perfect.
My stepson also lost both of his Freshman A and B games (he plays in both). The A team got KILLED! The B team did a little better but still lost. I got some good pictures but of course I was talking to my friend when Adam went up and made a great catch...missing the whole shot. He looked over and immediately yelled, "Did ya get that?" I shook my head no and yelled, "SORRY!" Needless to say I never heard the end of it all weekend, LOL!
Finishing off the weekend was Elijah's big game. Both teams were undefeated, so we knew it was going to be a battle. Right when we got there our mouths dropped, the ENTIRE team was HUGE. They did not have one small guy, and this particular team has been playing together for years. It was blazing hot (our little beach boys don't do well in the heat), not to mention our biggest guy was playing sick and one of our best running backs was out with a broken arm. This left us with only 19 players. We played good the first half but we were beat down by the second half. Elijah scored a touchdown at the very end of the game and the final score was 27-8 yikes!
We stopped on the way home at McDonald's and ate...then my stomach started cramping up. I was sitting in the car, with pains that felt like I was in labor (no, I'm not exaggerating either). We finally made it home and I spent the next two hours in the bathroom. I thought maybe I had food poisoning...but it has lasted all weekend. So I guess it's just the stomach flu. MAN, THIS WAS A ROUGH WEEKEND!

Sheesh you poor thing :(
Sorry about the loses, you know how good they are though so that's all that should matter. Although wins are always good too!!!
Hope you are feeling better!!
Darn, I didn't get that channel to watch the game, but it sounded like your boys still did good! And about McDonalds, that happens to me a lot too, only not as severe stomach cramps! I'm glad you're feeling better though!
dang! sorry the boys lost! Next time right! and that will teach you to eat greasy nasty fast food ever again!
Yikes! I hope you're feeling better now!
Busy weekend. What a cool football mama you are. :-) We tried to tune into the game but apparently we don't get FSN, only FSD..?
Sorry to hear about the games and your stomach flue. Yuck.
I hope this is a good week for you!!
That's cool that he got to be on TV!
Yes, I've had to do a TON of typing yesterday and today! So much fun, though; I wouldn't change it!
